Counter Cashier

Handle the till, the daily cash and the receipts at a Melado branch.

Location: Any Melado branch — 27 cities
Type: Full time
Openings: 8
Experience: 1 year of cash handling preferred
Education: Intermediate or above

Every branch needs somebody who is careful with money and calm at the till. That is this job.

You close the day, you count what is there, and you make sure the number in the system and the number in the drawer are the same.

What the job involves

Run the point of sale through the shift
Take cash, card and wallet payments
Close the till and reconcile it at the end of the day
Report any shortfall the same day, not the next
Cover the scooping counter when it gets busy

What we are looking for

You are accurate with numbers and honest about mistakes
You have used a point of sale or a cash register before
You can work evenings and weekends, which is when we are busiest
